Untitled #42

Posted on Wed 20th Dec, 2006, 5:31pm

ISO: N/A, Shutter speed: N/A, Aperture: N/A,
Camera: N/A, Flash: N/A, Cropping: None,
Lens: N/A, Focal length: N/A,
Captured: Can't remember,

This is the first Holga photo I've put up and before you say it's crap, that's the whole point of using Holgas.

I've got another similar one I may post tomorrow, will see how this goes down. I'm definitely going to be using the Holga again. It's just a shame it takes so long to post them what with all the developing and scanning etc.

I'm not sure how i'd take this image if it were from your 20D but I certainly like the fact that your putting in hard graft and experimenting with traditional methods. Good on ya

Good stuff. Looks like it was shot by someone falling from the top floor window.

I think the camera's basicness adds something to the 'urban-ness' of the building. Nice subject matter for the camera at hand.

I like the effect these holgas give. They give a mysterious, surreal look that sucks you in. Nice shot.

Nice. Liking that a lot. Excuse my naivety but where can you get Holgas from and are they expensive?

Jamey, Thu 4th Jan, 2007, 10:59am
Rich - should be easy to find online. Got mine from The Photographers' Gallery in London.
