I probaly would hve liked the crop to just have the bottom part of the image or just the top. It's a good shot though.

I agree with JD. in essence it feels like two seperate images... I'd have left a slight bit of the yellow line in there (upto just where it changes direction)... I like the foot sticking out of the umbrella and the "dot to dot" nature of all the chewing gum ;)

It could indeed be two seperate shots but I like it as a whole too. Nice one.

I think this is very successful. What makes it for me: the shiny shoe peeking out and the relationship between the umbrella and the bollard. The double-yellows provide a certain through-the-frame- dynamic too echoing the person's movement. This is a fine art photo.

So nobody else liked the lone green leaf then?

John Washington, Tue 15th Aug, 2006, 4:56pm
I like the lone grey leaf, but I'm more attracted to the branches of the umbrella which whilst slightly out of alingment with the lines of the paving seem to unify the image. Anyway - a nice streep photograph indeed.

great graphical quality of this shot. the yellow lines are the icing on the cake.

I simply LOVE the lone leaf ;) Great abstract shot here mate one of my faves from you by the way :) I just love all the textures and interplay with the lines etc...
