Chimneys

Posted on Sun 15th Jan, 2006, 5:20pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/200, Aperture: f/6.3,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Both,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 9th December 2005, 2:29pm,

After the noisiness of yesterday's shot, which probably was a bit too processed on reflecion , I thought I'd post something a bit smoother today.

This is the view over West London from the Media Centre building, which is the identical twin to the building I work in but my building doesn't have any access to the balcony on the top floor. The Media Centre, however, has a nice balcony with decking, tables and chairs and even one of those tourist telescopes so you can look out over the city.

This photo is, as you can probably tell, an amalgamation of two images. I liked them both but they were far too similar to post on seperate days so I had the idea of doing this. I think it's worked out quite well.
