Title:
Secret Door

Elladene

Posted on Sun 8th Jan, 2006, 11:13pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/60, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: Bounced, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 43mm,
Captured: 30th December 2005, 4:57pm,

This is my niece, who I don't see often enough. Although that's my own fault for being lazy.

This shot was taken over the Christmas holidays, when I was playing with my new flashgun, and it was probably the best of the bunch.

The colour version looked a bit too busy compared to the black and white, which has a much calmer feel to it.

On a loosely related note; to show how much of an effect the media is having on less internet-savy grown ups... My Mother just walked in as I was looking at that shot and bellowed "What on EARTH are you looking at???" ... Piss poor state of affairs really.

I love it when people bellow. So much better than mere shouting. But yeah, it's a ridiculous state of affairs. People want to worry about kids crossing the road, or something else they do every day.

Aww, how cute! I believe that children are our future.
