Around Town

Posted on Fri 6th Jan, 2006, 8:59pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/160, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 5th January 2006, 9:52am,

This is the partner to yesterday's shot. As before, I didn't notice the dirt until afterwards as I was only intending to get the scratches on the glass.

Whereas yesterday's shot had more of a country vibe, this one has more of an urban one, but only just.

I like the way the colours on the sunlit buildings complement the sky. And the slight pinkness of the cloud seems to balance with the building in the bottom left quite nicely.

I'll try to move onto something less filthy tomorrow, don't worry :)

I quite like this, though maybe not as good as the companion shot as it's less ambiguous (you can actually make out what it is).

Very cool, these are great! Like you said ... the colors work really great together. the DoF is wonderful.

Yes - really like this and to me it's very effective due to the amount of time I spend on Sarf-West Trains
