Untitled #83

Posted on Sun 26th Oct, 2008, 11:07pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/250, Aperture: f/5.6,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: Off-camera, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 12th October 2008, 8:05am,

There were a few of these yellow drums out around the place. I thought they were quite photogenic, especially with the power station in the background.

This one grabs me. Great colours and a desolate feel to it all.

The two sit well together - like an unexploded device.

The colouring has a surreal feel to it. I like the way the contrast appears stronger in the foreground than on the distant building.

Nice shot. I must get back to Dungeness more often!
