Agyness Deyn

Posted on Mon 21st Jul, 2008, 11:12pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/3200, Aperture: f/3.5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: 16:9+,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 20th July 2008, 2:59pm,

Compared to the more colourful Agyness shot that I posted on Facebook (link) I suspect most of you will find this a bit drab but personally I love the extra luminosity detail and contrast you can get when you desaturate an image, plus it makes it easier to use colour to convey a mood.

Anyway, I like this photo a lot. I'll probably never get the chance to photograph Agyness Deyn again but I'm happy with this one so I can rest easy.

Agree with Jide. The widescreen format works really well here giving a cinematic feel to the image. Great use of space too. Reckon this is my favourite of yours.

Love the framing, the light and the sheer clarity. Not sure who she is mind - looks like a young Paula Yates.
