Title:
Donington Castle Mono

Model Material

Posted on Mon 10th Mar, 2008, 5:52pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/4000, Aperture: f/1.4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: 16:9,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 4th March 2008, 2:11pm,

Despite having a lens that will do silly-wide apertures I don't tend to use the widest very often but here I think it works well.

I like this image for the fact that it looks like a shot of a toy figure's feet rather than an actual person.

Nice colours as usual but somehow I would have preferred it if the feet were on their heels.

Great image. What I like best are the 3 colour bands forming the foreground to background and the general subtle tones.

Jide - how do you mean? Like, rocking backwards type of thing? Or do you mean you'd prefer it if it was photographed from the reverse angle?

I see what you mean about being miniture. Great idea, althought I think it would be even better without that 'shrubery' in the top left, just a grassy hill.

Supreme DOF, I like this, it's just odd.
