Slim

Posted on Wed 24th Jan, 2007, 1:55am

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/40, Aperture: f/2.8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 16th January 2007, 3:16pm,

This is Slim, a guy I bumped into and got chatting to while I was walking around the White City estate with my camera. I asked if he'd pose for a couple of shots and he agreed.

I'd like to say more but I've been stripping wallpaper all day and I'm knackered. N'night.

it's a great portrait with very good use of your natural surroundings. Mal

There's a Cuban/Kid Creole look out him - maybe due to the closed eye and pencil tache. Good stuff.

"about" him rather than "out" him...

Pretty impressive my only niggle is I wish you'd used a longer focal length.

He looks so relaxed, as though it's not the first time he's been asked to pose by a random photographer

Nice, I like this a lot. Has a very "cheeky" feeling to it.

It is a great 'tache! I'm feeling like he's about to sell me a used car or something.

This is a bit grittier than your usual portrait stuff. I like it.

Great expression in his face!
