Crap Motorcycle Display Team

Posted on Thu 18th Jan, 2007, 5:21pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 30 Seconds, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 14th January 2007, 5:28pm,

A slightly left field title for this one but that's honestly what the picture makes me think of when I look at it. And thanks to Bex for pointing out that this scene might make a nice photo as we walked past.

Love the processing on this Jamey. Really good.

For some reason I find the white/red bit of tape adds to the image as a whole (a bit bizarre, I know). Great subject matter. Goes to show decent pics can be taken of just about anything!

I agree with Groovy about the tape - I guess it's due to it being the brightest point in the image. It's a warning that some tricky stacking is going on. It's a photo that, in my mind, is inextricably linked to its title.

Disregarding all the technical stuff you lot like to talk about I love this pic - the red tape definitely adds something.

I really like the blend of the distand natural light coupled with the street lighting which is bathing the benches nicely. On the subject of the tape. Is it meant to be there as a warning incase anyone tries to sit down because there is no bench to sit on! Mal

I would have liked to have seen the feet being complete in the shot, but yeh good processing and the tape does add to it all.

Great title. As milou says the shot is very much linked to the title.
