Untitled #41

Posted on Wed 13th Dec, 2006, 4:09pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/60, Aperture: f/32,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: Wireless, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, Focal length: 100mm,
Captured: 22nd October 2006, 6:42pm,

Go on then. I'm not as happy with it as I am with yesterday's photo but it does pair with it quite well.

Thanks to everyone for the get well messages. I'm still moping about at the moment, hoping to get better before the weekend as I've got a long drive on Friday.

This is really unusual Jamey but brilliant and very intense. The detail in your eye is stunning. Top shot. Mal

Again, I'm jelous of the sheer detail you can capture with your fancy pants lenses.. Nice 'alternative' style portrait with wicked focus/detail on the eye

It's not really a lens thing. Admittedly the focal length is what gives the close-up feel but everything else is non-lensy. The off-camera lighting helps and there was a huge dose of trial and error. I took about forty shots to get a couple I liked (that were in focus).
