Doors May Close

Posted on Mon 11th Dec, 2006, 5:15pm

ISO: 200, Shutter speed: 1/20, Aperture: f/2.8,
Camera: Sony Ericsson K800i, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: N/A, Focal length: N/A,
Captured: 9th December 2006, 4:05pm,

This was taken on my phone over the weekend. If I'd had the proper camera with me, this might well have been one of my favourites but I don't think the phone's done too bad a job, actually.

In fact, the only real regret I have with this photo is nothing to do with the quality at all, just that I wish I'd tried some lower angles to see what they looked like. I suspect the buildings would have got too obscured but it was lazy of me not to at least try.

Not bad at all for a phone camera. I like the purples. Maybe you could go back??

How many pixels is the camera on your phone? This is really good for a phone image. Photoshoped?

Jamey, Mon 11th Dec, 2006, 8:14pm
Jide - it's 3.2 megapixels so yeah, not too bad for a phone. All I did in Photoshop was lighten the ground a teensy bit, darken the sky a teensy bit and saturate a teensy bit.

Nice colour consistancy Jamey. I also have this Phone and its actually pretty good for when you don't have your camera on you. And to answer Jides question, it's 3.2 MP.

Aye, pretty good for a phone cam. As for the image, I like the angle, especially the curve of the platform - helps to accentuate the impression of speed even though the train is stationary.

Great shot for a cam phone this... I like the colour and toning in the whole thing it just looks cool.

I like how the yellow colours stand out against the rest of the (almost monotone) image
