Do you mind me asking how is this effect achieved & how to you decide which areas gets textured?

Now this is a textured shot I do like as it's as though someone is trapped behind glass or a grubby car window looking out towards freedom and the wide expanses of the beach.

i like your textured work personally and this is quite fantastic.

M-UK - you take a picture of a texture (wall etc), put it on another layer and then mess around with the layer blending modes to see which looks best. Then use a mask to remove any ares where you want the underlying image to show through.

i dig the idea, but i think the texture is a touch too visible. for me, it overpowers the real photo and all i can see is the wall. the warm tone is really lovely.

it has a feel of the shots john washington produces from behind the bus shelter windows... great work with the textures, would prefer a slightly darker sky, seems a little blown out in areas... but its great :D

I really like your shots when you texture them. I should give it a go sometime.

Always love to see your textured work, the texture on this one gives it the charm of an old photo - very nice.

Nice! I like when the photografer is playing with his photos after the shutter is closed! You are doing this processing very well! Keep up with this!
