Under Fire #2

Posted on Fri 1st Dec, 2006, 1:27pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: 16:9,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 18th November 2006, 5:07pm,

Clearly taken at the same time as this one but I liked it enough to post it as well.

Little bit wonky but whatever. Don't really care much about that anymore tbh. Not when it's deliberate or recognised, anyway.

Good tones on the sky and I like the little whiff of sand being picked up by the wind.

I think this typifies an English beach image with the overcast sky. The different assorment of building fronts looks excellent from the viewpoint you've taken it from

I really like the impression of scale here Jamey with the tiny child in the foreground and like the tracer bullit shot I can feel the conditions of the day in this image. Mal
