Jump #3

Posted on Tue 14th Nov, 2006, 9:00pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/25, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: Yes, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 11th November 2006, 1:45pm,

Whenever I go along South Bank, I always try to get some shots of the skaters and bikers there and I almost always fail to come away with anything I like.

This time I took my flashgun but it didn't make a huge difference. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Tomorrow's is similar but better, I think.

Been a while since I've posted a comment on your blog, so I thought I'd break the silence. I really like this photo. Definitely more of an interesting subject matter from my view... has a real sense of movement and think you captured the moment well.

For me it looks like the pedestrians in the background and the 2 guys looking on are like ghosts, with the skater in his own world. Great shot

This one is ace - the capture of the movement is spot-on.

Nice movement and good blurryness to the stuff sorrounding the skateboarder.

Nice panning skills.

Great action shot, all the blur adding very much to the feel. I also like the blown out background, creative.
