Untitled #30

Posted on Fri 10th Nov, 2006, 5:13pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, Focal length: 100mm,
Captured: 27th August 2006, 5:54pm,

Shot a while back at the Notting Hill Carnival, I processed this and then decided I didn't like it but found it again the other day and changed my mind.

For some reason this group of people remind me of the film Batteries Not Included but I don't really know why.

Incidentally, the fact that the texturing has added a twiddly moustache to the chap who's second from left is entirely coincidence.

I think the texture on this otherwise great processed shot just spoils it mate. The shot would have stood up on its own I think...

Funny thing, as soon as I saw this image I thought of the same film, batteries not invluded, love the texture you used here, can I have it? Suby

Not sure if I like the tecturing either but the photo is very good. Particularly like the guy on the right who seems to be in a world of his own :)

I really like your processing. And pretty funny with the moustache! It was ment to be.

This is really good. It feels natural and the texture works very well. I like the colouring too.
