ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/1000, Aperture: f/5.6,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 20th August 2006, 11:31am,

I'm not sure I have a lot to say about this really. I just like the movement of the water against the shore.

I can/t help feeling the anlg eof the breaking wave wouldve been better on a slightly more obtuse angle to the bottom. So, straighter. To give it a sweeping feeling as a opposed to a "closing" feeling. Hard to explain what I mean, but I do like the shot.

I like the ambiguity. It’s a wave but equally might have been a shot of a mountain range with snow. A good solid tonal quality – abstract fine art even. Now lets see some shots with that 10 stop ND filter!

Can not quite put my finger on why I like this shot Jamey but it works really well for me, I think it's more a tonal thing. Great shot

The movement of the water DOES look great!

I like this shot, but it could be so much more of a better photograph.. I think Jim is touching on what I am thinking about it, it perhaps could have been framed slightly different or waited for a wave to fill the frame or something. Good process on it tho mate.
