Untitled #16

Posted on Thu 3rd Aug, 2006, 7:51pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/6, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 31st July 2006, 8:20am,

This was shot while I was waiting around, bored. It was one of the chairs in the room and I thought I might be able to do something with it in processing. I quite like how it's turned out.

Nice texture. It looks old and comfortable. The almost reflective surface adds interest.

Looks like a good chair that's offered many a backsides some needed resting time. Nice work.

I wish I could take a beautiful shot like this when I am bored.

Can't really add to anything that anyone else has said, apart from we have a chair like this and I'll be darned if I can pull of a shot like that. Nice work.

This is very nice. Has kind of a victorian feel to it. Smoking jackets, and brandy.

I really like the ability to take something often considered as mundane and make it into an interesting image.
