Title:
Victim #1

No Place To Meet

Posted on Fri 9th Jun, 2006, 4:35pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 15 Secs, Aperture: f/13,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 3rd June 2:34am,

I was playing with the white balance and clicked on one of the benches (which were as close to neutral as anything else in the scene) and this is how it made it look. I rather like the way the ground is neutral but the sky is purple.

But the thing I like most is that the whole scene looks like a meeting place for Sherlock Holmes' arch-nemesis or something. I've got another shot of this scene to put up tomorrow, but this time with a victim :)

That's so pretty, I keep expecting the Milk Tray man to come down through the picture at any second.

Victim eh? It has a certain sinister dreamy almost quality about it. I'd expect a ghost to appear at any moment.

And looking at it again,I like how the pier is accentuated by the benches being highlighted along its length.

I like the way this shot leads your eye to the dark lighthouse. Nice.

Is this the one you took whilst the busy's where watching us (u didnt see them) ;-) Nice composition and the use of the WB mode really works for this, I love the way the lights repeat into the distance.

milou, Sat 10th Jun, 2006, 2:43pm
"Busys" are the northern Police apparently.

Bearing in mind I clicked on tommorrows image to get to this one...This shot is even nicer than tommorrows! I love the colour of the sky and the slightly soft feel it has.
