Worse Things Happen...

Posted on Wed 24th May, 2006, 12:50pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Square,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 14th May 2006, 6:57pm,

This is another one from Brighton, fairly obviously. It was one of those quick throwaway shot I took 'just in case' and I keep changing my mind about it.

I hated it at first, then liked it and now I'm unsure. But what the hell, tomorrow's and Friday's are both shots I'm really happy with so I can afford to bung up some old chaff today, I reckon :)

Not sure really. It isn't doing much for me yet but I'll keep looking.

I like the tones and the simplicity of this shot. The short depth of field add's a real abstract'ness to the piece and makes the viewer concentrate on the different textures within the wood's surface. I like it.

Nice dof and love the old wood.

Ive never been a fan of shots like this, taken many similar ones just to check it was the simple process I thought. Its nice, because of the texture, but like you... i just dunno.

Yeah, it's so-so. Stay tuned tomorrow for something more sexy.

I like shots like this and the world should be filled up with more of them! Check my blog entry today for the "Cause"!

My favourite types of capture, nice tones, I like it.
