Untitled #6

Posted on Mon 15th May, 2006, 3:43pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/80, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 29th April 2006, 4:35pm,

This is another shot from the big anti-racism event that was happening in Trafalgar Square the day I went out with Arkady.

I wasn't sure about it at first but after processing I think it looks decent.

i love the fact that there is a vivaldi advert thingy sitting beside him, it looks out of place to the rest of it's surroundings. I'm by no means a proffesional critic but i do like this, i just dont know why. Why do i like it jamey why!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heh... Maybe because it was taken at an even full of crusties and you're secretly drawn to them.

Yes, looks extremely decent to me! Love the perspective and the subdued colors. Somehow I get the feeling the man is drawing these pieces of junk and paper towards him like a magnet.

Love the colour as it really adds to the feel of the subject. Nice composition.

Good shot and good perspective, I too like the Vivaldi thing, small niggle is the bottom right of the image has a white thing there (paper) I would have perhaps cloned that out :) But a great shot nonetheless.

I think this my favourite of your recent set of portraits. It's an excellent viewpoint as it's a somewhat unusual perspective and minimalist in its toning.
