Battle of Trafalgar

Posted on Sun 30th Apr, 2006, 3:18pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/320, Aperture: f/5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Medium,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 29th April 2006, 4:05pm,

I met up with Arkady (from Talk Photography) yesterday and we went around London looking for stuff to photograph.

There was a big anti-racism gig/rally in Trafalgar Square and I spotted this guy (whose name I stupidly forgot to ask) rapping into someone's video camera. I took a few shots of him in full flow but they weren't great. After he finished his verse, he did some poses for me and I thought this was the best, although I may post one of the others in future.

Fab shot. Great pose. He looks so full of confidence.

Great shot. Not sure I agree with the confidence suggestion though, he seems a little withdrawn, possibly even wary - but perhaps thats just the image he was trying to portray. Great shot nonetheless though:)

Something about this kid, he was there for something that he believed in... but the kid looks to young to understand the old values of why they are there. Captures the true innocence of some of todays younger generation, good pose, nice capture and good processing.

Aye it looks definately Def to me here :) I still find all these poses pretty stupid looking though...

I can almost guarantee his name is " B" Nice shot. Your street portraits always remind me why I bought my camera.

Nah... It's probably Lethal B, or L'il B, or L'il Beezy or something.
