What Ewe Lookin' At?

Posted on Tue 1st Nov, 2005, 12:20am

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/500, Aperture: f/7.1,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG MACRO, Focal length: 300mm,
Captured: 31st October 2005, 3:50pm,

Sorry, that's the only title I could think of. I took this on a wander round the aerodrome just up the road. I've got a nasty cold at the moment and thought a walk might do me good. It didn't really but at least I got a photo of a sheep looking stupid.

Some of you might be wondering why there would be sheep on an aerodrome. Well the answer is that there aren't. That would just be silly. They can't fly planes for starters. No, the sheep are in an adjoining field and were remarkably easy to get close to. This one looked straight at me and voila. Photography ensued.

Mehhhhhhh-velous. Let the sheep-based pun contest commence.

I think it looks more shocked than stupid. Ewe must have caught it mid munch

Ewe make my dreams come true. Nice photo, the sheep looks a bit daft, but a little bit, not quite unnerving, but mildly malevolent. Maybe that's just my distrust of livestock talking.

More shocked than stupid? Maybe you're not seeing it right. Perhaps your PC doesn't have enough Ram... Geddit? RAM/ram? Oh god someone stop me. Napoleon - yeah the B&W version looks more sinister than the colour. The pink tongue made it look sillier.

I shall refrain from any terrible puns, since I think the above comments are enough for one photo! I love the expression. If it was a cartoon character it would be the village idiot.

I always find their eyes creepy, especially when you look at them close up.
