I Heart Melissa

Posted on Mon 31st Oct, 2005, 12:44am

ISO: 1600, Shutter speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/3.5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 30th October 2005, 5:51pm,

I was walking along the south bank and I noticed a bloke walking around down near the water, which is unusual in itself so I went to take a look. As I peered over the railings I saw this sight.

He was standing there calling for someone to come over. He didn't actually call the person by name but I presume it was the Melissa in question that he was calling.

I don't know if they'd just had an argument and he was trying to say sorry or if it was part of some romantic evening. Maybe he was just a nutjob who'd escaped from a local hospital. Whatever the reason, I thought it made a nice shot so I snapped it. It's nice to see someone feeling good today because I feel rather crappy myself. Sore throat, headache, the works. Now... Where did I put the ibuprofen?

I like the way you have captured the creator in the shot, looks like "I the undersigned decree":) Great shot.

Great shot and by the direction he's looking, she might be running along the er...um.."beach" towards him [isn't Melissa some sort of computer virus too?]

I think hie is a dyslexic fan of Greek mythology and meant to write ''I love Medusa'' - which is what it kinda looks like if you squint.
