Ferry Terminal

Posted on Tue 4th Apr, 2006, 5:10pm

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/25, Aperture: f/1.4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 23rd March 2006, 6:37pm,

I'm happier with this than I was with yesterday's, definitely. Beyond that there's not much more to say, plus I'm still unwell and don't feel like typing lots.

i really like this, the contrasting black and white windows on the buildings and all the buildings seem to be at a different angle which is nice! :)

Nice b&w shot. What are we doing without electric light?

Great night shot.

I prefer yesterdays due to all the colour ranges in it. Don't get me wrong this is a good image but there was just something about yesterdays :)

I love this, it has a real 'Sin City' feel to it which must be hard to do. x

Theres something about the DOF of this shot that still makes it seem a little bit fake, nothing wrong with that tho, I really like it.Hope you get well soon

I agree with Bex, there's a great mood conveyed in this image Jamey. The only problem I have is with the sense of depth between the buildings on the right. The lights of the building behind it confuse the image.

Jamey, Wed 5th Apr, 2006, 1:16pm
Yeah the two buildings on the right don't stand out from each other as well as they could. But to be honest, I meant for the main focal point to be the ferry terminal and water at the bottom. That's where I spent 80% of the processing time on this shot.

Looks great as a b&w. Nice work
