Title:
Who's Got the Keys?

Natural Self 4

Posted on Wed 15th Mar, 2006, 5:08pm

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/3.5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 23rd October 2005, 1:53pm,

Well this image has ended up being something I quite like but it's a bit annoying because it was far from a clinical process (pun intended, sorry).

I started out doing the usual things and it still looked too flat so before giving up, I just mucked around a bit and wound up with something I like. I guess I shouldn't let it worry me but I don't like feeling that I didn't get a result through true concious effort.

Anyway, as you can see it's another Photo of Natural Self/Keno 1. I do actually have a few new shots to post soon, promise.

Excellent portrait showing him in his environment (well, I assume it's his environment!). The processing is certainly unobstrusive - but he ought to get that damp on the wall looked at :-)

Yeah it's his home studio. I think the 'damp' bit of the wall is actually some poor vignetting/burning on my part. Sorry. Didn't notice how bad it looked when I posted it.

Liking the washed-out look of this. It's kinda brown in a wild west type of way, if that makes any sense.

Moeview - I only really DJ hip-hop and since I've not had that many gigs lately, I've not bought much. Sorry. I'm probably not the best person to ask.
