Tire Damage

Shuffle

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/25, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 13th February 2006, 2:41pm,

This was taken at Great Portland Street tube station. It's nothing special but I quite like it.

I was originally just going for a shot of the wet patch on the wall but then the chap you see wandered into the frame and I thought it worked, but I've no idea why. Not much I can say about this one so over to you.

Lovely DoF on the water Jamey, and the tilted angle makes me think of the old Batman stuff..."meanwhile in gotham city...." sort of thing. You have a good eye for this.

Strange that although it's the wall that's in focus, the eye's drawn to happy commuter (prob. another photoblogger worried about inspiration). Good shot.

Yeah, it does look a bit comic book, now you mention it. And I can't work out wy the eye gets drawn left either. Maybe that's what I like. Not sure.

The eye's drawn to the left because there's more highlight there and naturally drags your view. Scientific fact that you know....although they probabaly worded it better (and rather longer) than I did ;-)
