Title:
Cracked Leather

Waiting

Posted on Mon 20th Feb, 2006, 8:27pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 30 secs, Aperture: f/16,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 3rd February 2006, 9:05pm,

This is the same fridge that I put up a little while ago. It was still there when I went home after dark so I took some more shots of it by putting the camera on the pavement, propping the lens upwards slightly with the carry strap and using the self timer to trigger the shutter.

I tried a few different positions but this was my favourite because it almost looks like the fridge is looking down the street, waiting for someone. At least that's how it seems to me, anyway.

If you mean the orange cast, no. That's just the street lights. This is another one for the orange series. Forgot to mention that in the description.

You posted this on trickery at almost exactly the same time I posted mine. Kerr-azy.

Great angle - gives a monumental scale. The whole scene suggests decay.

I like the coloring- it looks almost sepia toned. By the way, that is one dirty fridge.

I like it a lot but I just want to grab the pic and ever so sllghtly pull the angle forward.

If the security career doesn't pan out, you'd make a cracking photographer, think this is my favourite one so far.

This picture is terrific. I like how the colors were changed to give more abstraction to the picture. Great photo ARt !
