Interruption

Posted on Tue 14th Feb, 2006, 5:37pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/6.3,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 19th January 2006, 12:16pm,

I'm quite happy with this shot because it looks like it did in my head when I took it. For some reason I knew straight away that I wanted to have this on its side. I have no idea why but it seemed like a good idea and I think it works.

The lone window with the black circular shape in it was one of the main factors that drew me to this photo but again I have no idea why.

If I stare at this for a few seconds it starts to look like a kids' toy building that's lying in a clean, white environment. I like that too.

It's cool, I like the fact that there's a broken window!

"We need guns. Lots of guns." That's the scene from the Matrix which the photo reminds me of.

Don't ask me why :S

lovely pic Jamey, it has a real 3D feel to it and i cant help but tilt my head, although if you stare at it long enough it looks like a row of ladders with one odd one out :)

Good graphic quality there. It would work both ways.

I see what you mean. It does look a bit like a shadowy figure. Welcome to the comments section BTW ;)

Well I thought it was racks of computers with the background cropped out at first. Interesting.

When I first saw this picture I thought of exactly the same quote as Richard!
